Paytm charges 2% extra but returns in the form of Digital gift balance

As per my early post, Paytm charging 2% extra for wallet recharge using credit card, it is true that you will be charged 2% extra. But here is a twice from paytm. You can able to get those extra deducted money.

Once you recharged your wallet with 2% extra deduction, the 2% will be reimbursed in the form of "Paytm Digital Gift balance".

You will get the sms like:

"You have received a Digital Gift Card of Rs. 6 against your add Money transaction on paytm. Promocode: xxxxxxxxx visit http:/p-y.tm/home now #PaytmKaro "

Now what is this "Paytm Digital Gift balance"?
There are number of trials made to redeem this voucher with our team, but it seems paytm is not ready with this till now.

Started from today i.e 9th March, 2017, Paytm starts charging 2% extra for wallet recharge using credit card for its customers.

So now no free transaction for wallet recharge using credit card.
